At Ausco we've been constructing, transporting and installing modular buildings for over 60 years. We're proud to have been a part of numerous nation-building and smaller scale projects alike. Here are a few notable events from our past...
1961:
1961 marked the establishment of the business that became Ausco, as the Australian subsidiary of the Alberta Trailer Company broke ground on a 6,300m2 factory in Adelaide, South Australia.
1986:
Exiting Australia to Focus on their North American business, the business’ branding was changed to Ausco and sold in 1986, initially to Fortuna of New Zealand before ultimately becoming a part of the the Algeco group in 2011.
2000:
Ausco Modular supplied buildings for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, including the accommodation blocks that served as the Athletes village.
2007:
Ausco Modular supplies buildings for Chevron’s Gorgon LNG project, in a major operation that involves the supply of several hundred modules supplied under strict quarantine conditions, to protect the biodiversity of Barrow Island.
2011:
Across all of Ausco’s production facilities, enough steel framing is used that if laid end-to-end, it would reach from Brisbane to Perth!
2021:
Modulaire purchases Ausco Modular who celebrates 60 years of business. We're proud to support the communities we work in.
